Mad about Plaid
I actually saw a father and teenage son yesterday dressed both in plaid. Pop was wearing the standard old-man flannel shirt and son was in a new hip fitted plaid shirt with skinny jeans. It was fashion evolution in action. Plaid is back and its uniting fashion across generations!I have to thank my lucky Nirvana stars that I don't have to wear the giant flannel shirts of my Kurt Cobain-obsessed youth to follow this fall trend. These days, there are figure flattering shirts that pair great with leggings or skinny jeans. You can even wear them with those new boots you got for fall to glam-up it up. Or what about sexy plaid in the form of a fitted vest? Either way they can be just as comfortable as your favorite flannel from the 90's.
